The very first Vision of God the Father and Jesus Christ to the prophet Joseph Smith was in the spring of 1820. May 15 is the Commemoration of the Restoration of the Aaronic priesthood. On this date John the Baptist appeared to prophet Joseph Smith and restored the Aaronic Priesthood to the Earth.
