| An amazing number of strong leaders, male
and female, are giving their very lives to provide leadership for
religious communities across the globe. The demands of competition in
the global scene means that religious leaders have need for resources
that will enable them to grow and serve their communities ever more
effectively. This page presents some unique resources. As an interfaith resource, we focus on services that are available to all interested persons, of any tradition. The search is on to find more good resources. We invite nominations from you the reader of this page. email We applaud the services offered by universities, seminaries, colleges and other higher education institutions. Religious organizations offer assistance to leaders depending on their interests and financial resources. Informal mentoring happens constantly in all religious bodies. We intend to search out resources from the community that exhibit open acceptance of all traditions. |

Competence and Religion
Leaders - The ideas of David Brooks provide a framework for comments
on how competence in the midst increasing complexity have impact on the
leaders of religions globally. Toastmasters - This global organization, presented in local community units, is made up of people from all walks of life. Toastmasters provides specific, understandable training in effective communication. Empowering people to achieve their full potential is in keeping with the vision of all religious traditions. Learning the arts of speaking, listening and thinking enhanced leadership potential and fosters human understanding. Note: Although religion leaders are usually well trained in the messages of their religion, experience shows that skills of public presentation are often undeveloped. Voice and body language are powerful elements of communication. Toastmaster participants can assist in mastering communications skills in a non threatening and timely manner.
